Jaime and Geoff's Wedding

Early this year, Melanie was delighted to receive an email from her friend Jaime, announcing her upcoming marriage. Jaime, who had been single for 34 years, was not only going to become a wife.... but also a mother. Geoff has three beautiful girls. Jaime expressed some of her feelings about the life changes that would soon come upon her... "It's always just been me and my dog, what do I do with a house full of people?" And to become an instant mother to three little girls, "What do I do with their hair?! How do you braid long hair?! How do you figure out grade 5 math?" Jaime's biggest concern for her wedding was to make the whole event happy and memorable for the girls. So selfless. To be sure, there's going to be a learning curve to this union but it's plain to see Geoff found himself one very devoted, loving and dedicated wife. What an honour is was for Melanie and I to be asked to capture the memories for this event. And how beautifully fitting that Jaime and Geoff were married on Mother's Day weekend.

I don't think there was a dry eye in the building when Jaime read her hand-written vows to each of the girls- and gave every one of them a ring.
