I don't think I ever cried so much at a wedding. Close knit family... celebrating...and saying goodbye! Harrison and Kathleen have invested so much love into their 7 children and it was beautiful so see them rejoice in a first marriage for one of their children.
Daddy's reaction to seeing his daughter as a bride.
Can you blame me for crying too?
A prayer before the ceremony begins...
A beautiful time of worship. It was touching to see such sincere love for the Lord- and the desire of the family to bring honour and thanks to God for everything!
My mom made the wedding cake. Not bad for a first wedding cake! Tasted great too:)
Congrats, my beautiful cousin! Welcome to the family, Jose!

Kristan and Jose... Teaser!
My sweet cousin Kristan and Jose married this past Saturday. The wedding was a sincere celebration of friends, family and Christ Jesus. If I could sum up the day in one word, it would have to be JOY. I've heard it said that the true meaning of joy comes when you put your priorities in this order: Jesus. Others. Yourself. And all who were present at the wedding would've seen this is the way it is with Kristan and Jose.
I can't wait to show more photos from the wedding day:)

Photography for Adoption Mini-Sessions!
What an amazing response we had to the photography fundraiser we recently promoted. When we heard that our friends, the Jefferson family were adopting a child from Haiti, we knew that we wanted to support them in every way possible. Adoptions are expensive- especially when they are international. A bunch of photographers joined together to do mini-sessions with all the proceeds going towards the adoption process for the Mark and Krista Jefferson. The event even made the news:)
If you're interested in booking a mini-session to support this cause, there are still some dates coming up. Krista keeps her adoption blog updated with dates and locations for the mini-sessions.
Here are a few images from our Sunday sessions. As you can see, the rain progressively got worse as the day went on- so we're looking forward to the rain date with our second half of people that we had to cancel that day!
