Rebecca is a lovely gal that I've been blessed to know for a good many years. She's the kind of girl that you can't help but admire. Recently she became engaged to the man of her dreams: Alex. They are in love and they are not afraid to let the world know it! This past Sunday, they allowed me to follow them around with a camera:)

Maybe they should've got two cones so they didn't have to fight each other for a taste...

Melissa, Ruud and family!

Melissa contacted me in January asking if I'd be free to take photos in March when her in-laws would be visiting from Holland. I was a bit concerned about how the weather would be in March... never suspecting we'd have 22 degree weather! Awesome! It's been a joy for me to come back again and again to watch this family grow!

I love this warmth and love of this big family. Ruud and Melissa with their sweet little boys Reid and Liam, Ruud's parents, Melissa's parents and sister.









One boy happened to take all the Portuguese genes... and the other got all the Dutch. BOTH are absolutely adorable!

Baby Bishop

A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful baby Violet... now she is a big sister!! Meet the handsome, adorable Bishop!

Big Sister Meets Little Brother!

Over Christmas, my cousin and his wife asked me if I'd be interested in photographing their upcoming birth. Interested I was! As the due date came and went, it ended up that a c-section was the necessary route to bring their little guy into the world. Even though it wasn't quite the birth (or birth photography) we all had hoped for, I was thrilled to be able to capture some images of their daughter meeting her sweet baby brother for the first time.

Here, grandma gets the phone call that he has arrived... and that he's a BIG boy!

And the amazingly strong and beautiful mommy must stay under care APART from her baby for hours...


And a big girl gets to meet a little boy who will change her life forever!

Emily and Nathan -Engaged!

Mel and I were so excited when we heard that Emily and Nathan were engaged. We've enjoyed getting to know Emily a little more over the years as we were asked to photograph their family (who also happen to be our relatives- Emily's grandfather-affectionatley know to us as UNCLE BOB is my grandmother's "little brother" :) We're looking forward to their summer wedding for a couple of reasons: for one, they are such a sweet couple and for two, we are certain that it will be alot warmer than the day we did the engagement photos!
